Laurie Van Wieren is an interdisciplinary movement based artist. Her dance solos and collaborative ensemble works consider the histories and maps that our bodies hold. Her work has been seen on the Mississippi River and in Silverwood Park under a full moon. She was in residence at Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography in 2022. Her recent work has been seen at Galewoods Farm, MN. with Judith Howard, Dexter Carlson, Kaleena Miller, 20 sheep and Mardi the Llama.

"Her recent performance heralds an era as subversive and unpredictable as this remarkably resilient artist."
